TUTS Pre-Professional Company

An elite training and performance company of students ages 15-20 that represent Theatre Under The Stars throughout the community, as well as at the state and national level. These pre-professional artists will experience a highly disciplined level of musical theatre technique, repertoire, and overall training in voice, acting, and dance through weekly rehearsals, industry professional masterclasses and engagements, competitions, and performance opportunities. TUTS MAINSTAGE TEEN ENSEMBLE

For 2^nd year and beyond Academy and River students, audition videos are being accepted for The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, White Christmas, and Beautiful: The Carole King Musical. CLICK HERE for a tentative program calendar.

TUTS performance troupe

The TUTS Performance Troupe consists of a subset of HSMT Academy students and students from The River. Students chosen to join this group will meet periodically receive invites to perform in a variety of outreach/community performances. Past performances include caroling at The Four Seasons, ReelMusic, Music For Autism, and the Points of Light Global Conference.

TUTS Education has built a repertoire of various summer teen-focused programs. Our Summer 2026 program is yet to be announced but the listing below represents possible options.

TUTS TEXAS All state musical

Open to Academy and non-Academy students.

The TUTS Texas All-State Musical will bring students from across the state to perform a full-scale musical in Sarofim Hall at the Hobby Center. This exciting program sees students staying overnight for an intensive and highly competitive camp intended to build student’s skills, networking, and resumes.

TUTS NEW WORKS SERIES

Every Broadway musical starts in a room. A room where writers, actors, and creatives, figure out how to build, connect, and translate a story to a stage that can reach millions. Join us as Theatre Under The Stars launches a New Works Series, catered towards high school and college bound actors interested in being a part of shaping a new musical development. Do you want to be in the room where it happens? TEEN PRODUCTIONS

Step into the spotlight with our immersive and high-energy shows designed for passionate and driven teen performers! This two-week intensive offers young artists the opportunity to develop their craft in a fast-paced, professional-style rehearsal environment while working toward a full-scale theatrical production.
