I. General Ticket Use
All tickets issued by Theatre Under The Stars (“TUTS”) constitute revocable licenses and remain the property of TUTS at all times. Tickets may be revoked at any time, with or without cause, at the sole and absolute discretion of TUTS.
By purchasing tickets, registering for programs, or attending any TUTS performance, class, camp, or event, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree that any claims shall be brought solely in your individual capacity and not as part of any class action or representative proceeding.
II. Ticket Purchases
All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be issued except as expressly provided herein.
Tickets may be exchanged in accordance with TUTS exchange policies, if applicable. Additional fees and restrictions may apply.
Lost, stolen, or damaged tickets may be reissued at the discretion of TUTS.
III. Ticket Resale & Transfer Restrictions
Tickets may not be resold, offered, or transferred for commercial purposes without the express written consent of TUTS.
Tickets obtained through unauthorized resale or in violation of these Terms and Conditions may be voided without compensation and may subject the original purchaser to forfeiture of future purchasing privileges.
TUTS employs electronic monitoring systems to detect unauthorized resale or bulk purchasing patterns and reserves the right to take appropriate action, including but not limited to:
- Cancellation of tickets
- Revocation of ticket licenses
- Refusal of service
TUTS is not responsible for tickets purchased through unauthorized third-party sellers, brokers, or resale marketplaces and cannot guarantee their validity.
IV. Performance Changes & Cancellations
Programs, artists, dates, and times are subject to change without notice.
If a performance is canceled and not rescheduled, ticket holders may be eligible for an exchange or account credit. Refunds will only be issued if required by law or explicitly stated by TUTS.
V. Attendance & Conduct
A valid ticket is required for admission for each attendee, regardless of age.
TUTS reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any individual whose conduct is deemed disruptive, unsafe, or in violation of venue policies.
Late seating policies may apply and are enforced at the discretion of house management.
VI. Photography & Recording
Photography, video recording, and audio recording are strictly prohibited during performances unless otherwise authorized.
By attending a TUTS event, you grant permission for your image and likeness to be used in promotional materials without compensation.
VII. Health & Safety
All guests and participants must comply with any health, safety, or security policies in place at the time of the event or Program.
VIII. Educational Programs, Classes, Camps & Courses
(TUTS Education, The Humphries School of Musical Theatre, and The River)
Registration & Payment
Registration for all classes, camps, workshops, and other educational offerings (“Programs”) is processed through TUTS Education.
Full payment is required at the time of registration unless otherwise specified.
No Refund Policy
All registrations for Programs are final.
No refunds will be issued for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Withdrawal by the participant
- Schedule conflicts
- Illness or injury
- Missed classes or sessions
This policy applies to all Programs offered by:
- TUTS Education
- The Humphries School of Musical Theatre
- The River
Transfers & Credits
Transfers, credits, or rescheduling may be offered only at the sole discretion of TUTS Education and are not guaranteed.
Any approved transfers may be subject to administrative fees and availability.
Program Changes
TUTS reserves the right to:
- Modify schedules, instructors, or curriculum
- Combine or cancel Programs due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances
If a Program is canceled by TUTS, participants may be offered a transfer or account credit.
Participant Conduct
Participants are expected to follow all program guidelines and codes of conduct. TUTS reserves the right to remove any participant for disruptive or unsafe behavior without refund.

X. Liability
TUTS is not responsible for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property while attending any performance, event, or Program, except as required by law.
Participation in educational Programs is voluntary and undertaken at the participant’s own risk.
XI. Modifications and Precedence
These Terms and Conditions are subject to modification at any time without prior notice. The most current version shall govern all ticket purchases and use.
In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Conditions and those contained in separate agreements or marketing materials, the terms of such agreements or materials shall prevail.
XII. Agreement
By purchasing tickets or registering for a Program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
