Jordan Lang

Jordan Lang is a theatre artist and educator based in Houston, Texas. She is currently a senior at the University of Houston pursuing a degree in Theatre Education. Jordan is passionate about creating student-driven theatrical spaces where young people can grow as artists, collaborators, leaders, and individuals. Jordan believes theatre education should be rooted in imagination, play, truth, and meaningful artistic experiences. Her teaching centers student voice, process-driven learning, ensemble building, and creative risk-taking grounded in the belief that theatre should be a space where students feel safe to explore, fail, and grow. She believes that theatre is not simply about putting on a show, but about learning how to listen, collaborate, communicate, and contribute to something larger than themselves. Her approach to theatre education is guided by a simple reminder: Do it for the little you who loved to play dress-up and teach a class of stuffed animals.
